Our Philosophy

To provide a safe, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment where children, whānau, and kaiako thrive together. Our centre nurtures tamariki to grow into confident, competent and resilient individuals, respecting each tamaiti's uniqueness.

At our multicultural early learning centre, we celebrate each tamaiti’s unique identity and potential, fostering a sense of belonging for all. We are guided by Te Whãriki and we honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi, integrating Te Reo Mãori into our daily practices.

We empower tamariki to be confident and know that they are capable learners. We encourage children to take responsibility of their learning, independence and self-reliance with open-ended resources. We promote resilience through activities that encourage problem-solving, adaptability and perseverance.

Manaakitanga is central to our interactions, promoting kindness, respect and care. We build whanaungatanga, nurturing strong, respectful relationships among tamariki, Kaiako and whanau.

In partnership with our community, we are committed to continuously evolving our practices and learning environment to ensure that every tamaiti thrives. By honouring each child’s mana, we cultivate a haven where their potential can flourish. Together with the children, whãnau, and community, we create a foundation for lifelong learning, perseverance and strong meaningful relationships
